About this tour
We created a 5-day Georgia tour that includes all of Georgia’s must-see attractions.
important places and sights here, including Sioni Church, Anchiskhati, Tbilisi Waterfall, Abanotubani, and many other historical and modern sites.
First day includes Uplistsikhe, Gori, Jvari Monastery, and Mtskheta. Here, you will find the Museum of Stalin, and Mtskheta, the capital of old Georgia.
On the second day, Zhinvali Water Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, and the enormous mountains of Gudauri and Kazbegi will attract you.
Finally, you will be introduced to the wine region of Georgia, Kakheti.
Here, you will taste the oldest wines made in Qvevri. Kakheti is full of religious places, including churches and monasteries.

Itinerary
The first day of the tour starts with a nice walk through the old street to Metekhi Church. Meanwhile, you will listen to exciting legends and the history of Tbilisi’s foundation.
The attractions include the Bridge of Peace, Europe Square, Rike Park, and the Clock Tower.
The cultural tour includes visiting Anchiskhati Church and Sioni Cathedral, which has the oldest frescoes.
The following must-see attractions you will visit are the Mother of Georgia, the Juma Mosque, the Bridge of Love, the Patriarchate, the Sioni Cathedral, the Toastmaster Statue, and the Fragmentation of Berlin’s Wall.

The first, stop is at Zhinvali Water Reservoir to snap some fantastic photos, then check out the old Ananuri Fortress, full of history. Have lunch with tasty Georgian food, then take in the fantastic views at the Gudauri Viewpoint. The main event is in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi),where you ride in to the peaceful Gergeti Trinity Church for incredible views of the mountains. After that, visit Room Hotel Kazbegi, offering beautiful scenery, before we head back to Tbilisi.

Endpoint: The tour ends back at the meeting point.
In the morning, you’ll head to the eastern part of Georgia to visit the charming city of Sighnaghi. Known as Georgia’s most romantic city, Sighnaghi boasts old Georgian architectural styles, stunning views of the Alazani Valley, and the longest castle wall in Georgia. After exploring Sighnaghi, you’ll descend to the Alazani Valley and arrive at the wine village of Velistsikhe to visit the 300-year-old Numisi wine cellar. Lunch can be enjoyed in Velistsikhe, with recommendations from our guide.
Following this, you’ll visit the Alaverdi Monastery, founded in the 6th century by the Assyrian monk Joseph (Yoseb, Amba) Alaverdeli. The tour concludes at Matsoni House, where you’ll taste various types of matsoni, a traditional Georgian yogurt, and be delighted by its diverse and wonderful flavors.
The Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Gori, and Uplistsikhe tour offers an excellent opportunity to explore Central Georgia, uncover its ancient landmarks, delve into its history and infrastructure, and savor its special wines and dishes.
On this tour, you’ll visit Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, located just 20 km from Tbilisi. Here, you’ll explore remarkable UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the 7th-century Jvari Monastery, which offers a stunning view of the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, and the 11th-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a masterpiece of Georgian Renaissance architecture.
Next, you’ll head west to the city of Gori, known as Georgia’s “apple capital.” Gori is renowned for its fertile lands and as the birthplace of Joseph Stalin (Jugashvili). We offer an excursion to the house-museum of the famous generalissimo or a visit to Uplistsikhe, the oldest cave city in Georgia, founded in the 2nd millennium B.C. In Uplistsikhe, you will also have the opportunity to taste four kinds of wine, accompanied by cheese and Georgian nuts, in a restored historical wine cellar.
After a great time in Georgia the last part is transfer to the meeting point: At 08:30, Wine Rise #17, Tbilisi, Georgia.
After breakfast, take some time to relax and enjoy your free morning before we accompany you to the airport.
